Our daycare center at Münchner Freiheit in Schwabing is located in a modernized, stately city villa in the middle of a beautiful garden. Here we currently look after one crèche and one kindergarten group in a family atmosphere. Our daycare center is easily accessible by public transport.

Modern daycare center with charm
The listed building of the daycare center on Münchner Freiheit dates back to 1910 and has since been completely renovated and extended with a modern glass annex.
There are friendly group and quiet rooms with large window fronts on three floors. In addition, we have functional rooms on all floors, which can be set up differently depending on play requirements. There is also a gymnastics room in the building where the children can let off steam under supervision.
Our daycare center is surrounded by a beautiful garden with mature trees, which invites the children to play, run around and learn in a natural environment. The English Garden and Biedersteiner Park are also just a few minutes' walk away.

A small, highly motivated and open-minded team works at our daycare center on Münchner Freiheit. It consists of long-standing employees with a multi-professional and multicultural background who speak German, English and Spanish as their mother tongue. The team attaches great importance to creating a warm and familiar atmosphere throughout the building, which gives children and parents a feeling of security.
Our Wichtel Akademie management duo at Münchner Freiheit
Franziska Knust and Barbara Seitz form a strong management team of center manager and deputy manager. Both have been with the Wichtel Akademie for many years and live the Wichtel spirit. They are always actively involved in the group service and appreciate the closeness to the children, their team and the parents.

Childcare costs 2024
Our monthly fixed price includes food costs, educational offers, entrance fees for excursions as well as hygiene articles and diapers. Current price list valid from September 2024.

- The Free State of Bavaria grants an additional subsidy of €100 for children over the age of three, which reduces the parental contribution mentioned above. This reduction in the contribution applies from September 1 of the year in which the child turns three, regardless of whether it attends the crèche or kindergarten. The subsidy is paid to the provider until the child starts school. The reduction in the monthly parental contribution remains in place as long as the Free State of Bavaria pays the additional subsidy to the provider.
- The one-off registration fee for a place in the crèche or kindergarten is € 495.
